forming ever-changing patterns shaped by nature’s flow

others shaped by irregular tension and natural erosion

Námafjall is a still active volcano that belongs to the Krafla volcanic system

I wasn’t sure what I was seeing

the ice expands

These moments occur only briefly and are difficult to predict

these icebergs appear almost disconnected from their origin—shaped by melting

as Iceland has numerous active and dormant volcanoes that can release ash and other volcanic materials into the atmosphere
