Seiko 2220-5000 from 1977 (Serviced)For sale is a Seiko 2220 5000. The Seiko 2220 5000 features a clean glossy black dial with minimal gold elements added for contrast and legibility. The dial is cased by a boxy gold plated case with an extended art deco style that adds depth to the watch. Powering the watch is the 24 Jewels calibre 2220 that beats away at 28800bph. The absence of seconds hand also allow the watch to have a cleaner aesthetic. The watch case is in excellent condition

The etched King Seiko shield logo is faint but still visible

An additional zest was given to the watch with the striking orange seconds hand

The calibre 8R28 features column wheel for smooth operation of the pusher

The watch is in immaculate near unused condition with the exception of some light hairline scratches on the bezel that is hardly visible

Azure blue paint is applied to both the hands and indices to give the watch a beautiful contrast over the matt black dial
