This Merlot derives from a parcel with rich soil and therefore has been naturally producing a very fragrant Merlot yet with a softer palate structure compared to other sites within the estate that contribute tour our Merlot Reserve and Octagon

Fermentation occurs in a combination of steel barrels (90%) and used barrique barrels (10%)

orange peel and dark Asian spices

The structure is buffered by a dense texture as this plays out on the lemon-tinged finish
