Each sphere has developed a lovely smoothness and patina over time, and they shine beautifully when they catch the light. Its been beautifully preserved from the late 19th Century and is held securely around the neck by a large ring clasp at the end. It’s a great collector’s piece and complete with the maker’s initials and Birmingham hallmarks on the back which date it to 1888

They have a deep regal purple hue and are complemented by four twinkling diamonds in between

showing that they regarded them as their own anchor

The ring carries a wonderful sentiment as the two stones symbolise the coming together of two souls and the entwined serpents represent eternal love
