I tried to evoke a feeling of dark warmth and peace and used a new technique involving craft glue and texture paste

while the total print size including the border is 11x14

I applied a coat of acrylics for the basic values and then painted layers of oil glazes over it

I use a dark oil wash over the entire painting and then scrape away part of that layer to reveal highlights and emphasize shadows
