Originally called the Custom Custom Custom, the Custom 5 high output humbucker pickup began life in our Custom Shop as a response to players requesting a brighter, Alnico 5 version of the popular Custom Custom humbucker. It has a nice, full tone, a scooped mid range, and strikes a nice balance of bass & treble.
Frets have barely any wear on them and the action is low and slinky with no dead spots
This one is in absolutely minty fresh condition with only the pickguard professionally removed - add your own touch if you like or leave it bare
This one has garnished a few stickers in it's lifetime so there's a few tan lines
These are often considered some of the most accurate PAF clones available
This particular model has seen it's share of dings and bruises
The Alnico 5 blade magnet gives a tone has all the spank and twang of a traditional lead pickup
