Albert Thurston has been supplying these since 1820 to kings, princes, presidents, businessmen, and regular guys from its storefront near London's Trafalgar Square. This is a pair of classic Y style braces made of rigid black silk moire, with calf leather trim and gold plated fittings.
You can easily kill fifteen minutes looking for the seam

The cotton's been grown in California and Texas — spun into yarn in Georgia — and then knit into socks in North Carolina at one of the oldest running hosiery factories in the country
These are made from lightweight cotton twill with a great hand to it
the construction of this one is designed specifically to resist wrinkles and bring out the evenness of the pattern
It’s cast in unlacquered brass (which will take on a great patina over time) and designed to fit a 1" belt strap with snaps
