Chad Valley bought Peacock Stores in 1931 and continued to make bears in their name for a short while with their own Peacock label. The bears are very similar to Chad Valley's own bears. They had the Magna style horizontal nose, large cupped ears, amber glass eyes. There are 2 bears with this label in the museum. This is Yale a wonderful rare and very hard to find  antique bear

He is 18" inches tall with his luscious coats in excellent condition for his age

although he does have a look of an Omega

John W is a good example of a 1925 10" white sheepskin Farnell bear made especially for a store with the store label  Made for John Wanamakers in Philadelphia with his unusual
